    https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/downloads
    or
Log into your VPN portal (https://114.143.241.74:3619/).

  • File will look like SophosConnect_<version>.msi.

  2. Click Next → Accept license → Install.

  3. Finish → a Sophos Connect icon appears on your desktop/start menu.

???? Part D: Download VPN Configuration File

  1. Open your browser → go to: https://114.143.241.74:3619/

  2. Login with your company VPN username & password.

  3. Find the section: Download Configuration (usually “Sophos Connect Config”).

  4. Download the .scx file.

???? Hint: Sometimes config is given by IT via email as .scx.

???? Part E: Import Config into Sophos Client

  1. Open Sophos Connect Client.

  2. Click Import Connection.

  3. Browse and select your downloaded .scx file.

  4. The VPN profile will appear in the client.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Enter your VPN username & password when asked.

  5. If connection succeeds → status changes to Connected.

Check:

Open Command Prompt → run:

ipconfig

  •  You should see a new VPN adapter with IP assigned by your VPN server.

???? Part G: Auto-Connect at Startup (Optional)

  1. In Sophos Connect → Right-click profile → Enable Auto-Connect.

  2. Next time you boot, VPN connects automatically.

???? Part H: Common Issues & Fixes

  • Wrong username/password → Check with IT; sometimes case-sensitive.

  • Config import fails → Ensure it’s a .scx file (not .ovpn).

  • Cannot reach portal (114.143.241.74:3619) → Ensure internet is working; try switching Wi-Fi/mobile hotspot.

  • VPN connects but no internet → Check DNS → add Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1) in network settings.

  • Windows firewall blocks traffic → Ensure Sophos Connect is allowed in Firewall.

  • Stuck at “Connecting” → Restart laptop, reopen client, re-import config if needed.

General Hints ????

  • Always download config from the secure portal, not from email links.

  • Save .scx file in a safe folder; re-import if profile breaks.

  • If VPN keeps disconnecting → check if Wi-Fi is unstable, try wired/Ethernet.

  • For multi-user laptops → each user may need to import the config separately.
